Adaptive Equipment to Enhance Independence.

This 1-hour course, titled 'Adaptive Equipment to Enhance Independence', is intended to provide education regarding techniques and tools in order to improve independence. This course encompasses various solutions for common functional deficits within the areas of dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, bed mobility, transfers, and driving. Throughout the course, strategies will be provided to enhance the function of patients in order to instill increased independence and safety during their daily routine. Participants will be exposed to various products on the market in order to provide patients with creative solutions and resources to enhance their independence.
